$170

That was the grocery bill for today. OUCH.
We did get a lot of great stuff though. Pineapples were on sale for $2. We bought 2 whole ones and then bought one already cut up. Yum yum!
Also bought more strawberries and some blueberries.
Erm what else. Oh got some unsweetened coconut milk, higher quality olive oil, almond butter etc.
And a ton more meat. Lots of it should last us for at least 2 weeks.

We spent a good 2 and a half hours in the grocery store b/c we were reading labels. Its frickin depressing trying to find shit without sugar, corn syrup or the bad oils, like veg, canola or soybean. I mean hell, even a simple salad dressing that is labelled Olive Oil and Vinegar had frickin soybean oil & canola AND veg oil in it! WTF??
The organic section really wasn't any better. I mean the only difference was that they tacked on the "organic" label before things such as organic sugar, or organic cane sugar.. like that is any frickin better! Grrrrrr

I know DH is going to get tired of just oil & vinegar salad dressings. I'm gonna have to find something. Some more paleo friendly recipes for dressings. Or maybe we could go to the whole food store and see if there are more options there. It'll probably be just the same though. Just a tacked on organic label in front of all the bad shit.

I think soybeans are making us infertile too!! It is hard to get away from them because they are in everything!

oh, and I like apple cider vinegar and olive oil mixed with italian dressing seasoning. The seasoning adds to the taste. As for the nutrient info, I am unsure I don't have any in the house.

Thanks for the suggestion Amy :D Not sure if we have any apple cider vinegar atm, but I'll try it out next time though :)
